This product utilises the bactericidal properties of Tea Tree Oil to kill the bacteria which grow in perspiration on the skin. It is these bacteria which produce the odour. Ordinary antiperspirants use aluminium or zirconium salts to reduce the pore openings. These block the openings and prevents perspiration from escaping. Further more, zirconium is recognised cancer causing agent and a more than casual relationship between aluminium and Alzheimer's disease is being suspected. Formulation
This deodorant combines the bactericidal action of Tea Tree Oil with the fragrance enhancers and soothing effects of boronia, chamomile, rosemary, yarrow, nettles, birch leaves, coltsfoot, horsetail and trefoil. It also contains a pH balancer to benefit the skin.

Contra
For persons using Tea Tree Oil for the first time a small patch test (on the underside of the arm) may be indicated if concern exists re possible skin effect. Although at this concentration it is highly unlikely any form of skin irritancy might occur, there is always the possibility that a person may have an allergic response to the product (as with any cosmetic or therapeutic). Normal precautions should be taken which include noting if any redness or skin irritation develops or persists after using the product. In such case simply discontinuing the product will cause the skin to revert to normal.
